  • Indian Head Canoes

    Located directly across from the Riverhouse, the family-owned-and-operated Indian Head Canoes has been making driftin' down the Delaware possible since 1973. They have several different types of boats and trip distances available, so be sure to BYOC (Bring Your Own Cooler).

  • Silver Canoe

    POND EDDY, NY

    Silver Canoe has everything you need for a fun-filled day of adventure on the Delaware. Individual and group rates are available, as well as a variety of boats to choose from. Reservations are recommended during high season.

  • Find the Midline Pilates

    POND EDDY, NY

    Whether you're staying for the weekend or planning a retreat, Bianca Velez from Find the Midline is a talented pilates and meditation instructor located across the street from The Starling at Pond Eddy. Classes are available at her studio throughout the week or private appointments can be made for lessons on the grounds of the property.

  • Raymonskill Falls

    MILFORD, PA

    The three-tiered Raymondskill Falls is the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania and located only 25 minutes from the property. If you add the drops from each tier together, the waterfall is only a few feet shorter than Niagara Falls.

  • Hickok Brook

    HIGHLAND, NY

    The 1,036-acre Hickok Brook Multiple Use Area features multiple use trails, Hickok Brook, a small pond and ample parking areas and designated campsites found along the road and near the pond. The gate into the property opens May 1st and remains open until winter conditions make the road impassable as determined by the Forest Ranger. Hunting, trapping and fishing are allowed during appropriate seasons.

  • Barryville Farmer's Market

    BARRYVILLE, NY

    Open every Saturday, May through October (10am - 1pm, rain or shine, the market features local produce, fruit, baked goods and bread, a variety of meats, cheese, eggs, jam and jellies, whiskey, prepared foods, artisan woodwork and more.

    The Delaware River offers some of the finest and most accessible recreational opportunities in the northeastern United States. Popular activities include boating, fishing, swimming, camping, hunting, hiking, bird watching, sightseeing along state-designated scenic highways, and cycling along canal towpaths and bike routes of the Upper, Middle and Lower Delaware River.

  • Ski Big Bear

    LACKAWAXEN, PA

    Ski Big Bear offers 18 trails, 7 lifts including 2 Magic Carpet lifts, and 650' of vertical. The mountain is covered annually with approximately 50 inches of snow. When Mother Nature isn't sending snow, snowmakers make sure the trails are blanketed with as much snow as possible. Ski Big Bear Trails are just under 30 minutes from The Starling at Pond Eddy.

  • Bethel Woods Center

    BETHEL, NY

    Enjoy music and art at the original site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. The 800-acre campus includes a Pavilion Stage ampitheater, an indoor Event Gallery, the award-winning Museum at Bethel Woods, and a Conservatory for creative learning programs.
